The acid content in vinegar effectively works to peel off old skin cells, revealing fresher-looking skin.
What it does: Reduce mild hyperpigmentation and kills bacteria in skin. Regular use also helps oily skin.
How to do it: Use plain vinegar or better yet, apple cider vinegar. Dilute 1 part vinegar to 1 part water if its too strong! Use your own good judgement because each vinegar product will differ in strength. Start off slow.
Dab on skin. Leave on for about 10 minutes. Wash off thoroughly with water.
Why it helps: The acid in vinegar sloughs off old skin cells like store-bought AHA products.
I am turning 32 in a week and have been seeing dark spots on my cheeks and slightly below my eyes and i can’t afford the expensive creams. I have using a little bit of castor oil on my face for few weeks. I pour just a little on the palm of my hand and mix it with my daily moisturiser so it can be absorbed easily without being too greasy since it is so think. I have noticed a change on my skin. It’s more suppple, softer and is actually clearing and will greatly recommend it for anyone who has the same problems as i did. Do your own reseach and understand your skin and it’s needs, that will be empowwering. You will save your time and energy.
Thanks for sharing Thatohatsi. I’ve got an article about castor oil here (I love it and use it daily myself).
I’ve been mistaken for being 10 years younger than my age because of it. 🙂
I’m definitely trying this. I hear castor oil if great with hair growth too. I’ve read so much abt it its gotten to a point where I can’t ignore it anymore, today is DAY 1. Will report back in a week. I’ve even taken the BEFORE pic lol. Letsgo!
