Milk of Magnesia for oily skin and blackheads
last updated on 5 November 2011
What it does: Minimizes pore size and blackheads. Good for oily skin and blemishes.
How to do it: Spread a thin layer of Milk of Magnesia (unflavored is best) over problem areas. Allow to dry. Rinse off with water. Repeat once or twice a week
Why it helps: Milk of Magnesia is Magnesium hydroxide, which is an alkaline. This neutralizes the excess acid on skin, which causes blemishes. It also disinfects skin and absorbs oil.
