Before using tweezers to get out a splinter, try a bit of scotch tape first.
How to do it
Step 1: Place a bit of scotch tape over splinter firmly.
Step 2: Pull it off and the splinter should come out with it without any pain.
(And of course, do pull in the opposite direction so it doesn’t embed itself in deeper.)
